Department of Food Quality and Safety in School of Engineering of China Pharmaceutical University is an interdisciplinary field that applies the basic sciences, mathematics, pharmacy and engineering to convert agricultural products into high quality and safe edible foods, dietary supplements and biological materials through various processing steps. Food Quality and Safety are involved with all phases of the food industry including research, product and process development, processing engineering, manufacturing, analysis and marketing.
